The unit does an excellent job at cleaning the pool and is very easy to use. However, the reliability is not very good. It is great to have a three year warranty but mine was in the shop four times during the warranty period and then the motor died six months out of warranty. The repair cost was 80% of a new unit so I had to buy a new one. With my large pool it is the only unit on the market that works well. Hopefully this new one will be better.

I replaced my existing Polaris robot that gave out after its drive train bit the dust with this new and improved model. It is far superior to my old unit. I did learn some lessons, like don’t leave in water and add chemicals and put the unit back in its caddy between uses. I expect this one to live longer than the four years of my original. I had a pump driven Polaris that I had to rebuild every other year so this is a vast improvement. Highly recommended over battery.

In the last 5 years, I have gone through 3 pool sweeps. This Polaris seems to be the real deal. 2 months in and I am loving it for sure!

I love the cleaning job of the Polaris VRX in. It is easy to program and efficient. The lift mode of the unit makes it especially easy for removal from pool. So far, we are very happy with this unit.

Longevity of the cleaner is not very good. Two years is about average without major repairs and cost. I would say your design is spot on for your cash flow generation but not long term customer satisfaction. I have owned 4 or these so not a novice but maybe too nice to change. You can do better on design lifecycle

The unit is performing optimally. It cleans extremely well and cleanup is simple and easy. The only issue I had was not with the unit but with the cart assembly . The angle of the bend in the metal bar was too steep and would not line up with the slot on the underside of the cart . So I had to take some of the bend out. I gave it 5 stars because the unit itself is awesome .

This is my second Polaris cleaner. I have to deal with lots of leaves from trees around my pool and this cleaner does a great job.
