Does a great job on main part of pool but not as good on steps. I brush thjem down each time before running the robot.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Frederick! Robotic cleaners can have a hard time with steps and benches, as they can’t tell if it’s the top of the pool. Regular pool maintenance requires consistent brushing of the steps, benches, etc. Once the debris is dislodged from those areas, the cleaner can take care of it at the bottom or sides of the pool. Purchased two weeks ago to replace my 30 year old Polaris 280 system. Easy to set up and operate. Does a good job of cleaning the pool (doesn't clean the steps well however). Only challenge is winding up the 70 ft cord after the cleaning is done.

The Polaris VRX iQ+ is excellent, easy to operate, cleans the pool exceptionally well. It climbs walls scrubs all the way up to the tile line. Easy to empty the debris basket. Easy to use the lift system to remove it from the pool. I can operate it when I’m not home from my phone. I use the sanitary cycle and the pool is spotless when the cycle is completed.

Our five year old Polaris broke down and this newer model is superior in every way, we are amazed that it can completely clean our huge 40,000 gallon swimming pool in 90 minutes, our older model took nearly twice as long. Also the app works much better with iPhone and setup was much easier. Really great to see the improvements. We are very happy with the Polaris VRX iQ+ THANKS
