WARRNING!!. These people destroyed my dogs rear leg whileshe was in for surgery on her ear right ear over a year ago.Others had warned me not to take her there.. Now she fights every day to walk. There exam rooms were filthy and i would not recommend this place if it were the last vet on earth..

I took my cat in for a simple check of a wound from a cat fight. Over $160 later I left and felt I had been very upsold on unnecessary tests and products. The initial office visit fee may be low but they get you for a lot more once you are there. I will go back to my "expensive" vet in the future as I know they will only recommend what is needed and not overcharge. Plus I had an appointment and had to wait way too long and then was left in the room waiting for the Dr. on top of that. An hour and 1/2 later I was finally o... read more

While the office visit fee was reasonable the treatment plan of $674 to treat an abscess on my cat's tail was not. Several of the suggestions tucked into my bill were expensive and irrelevent to my pet's needs. I was shamed by one of the vet tech's because I was unable to pay for such a high bill and would not qualify for a Care Credit Card. I told the tech that I would be able to pay $200 max. She came back with a $185 treatment plan that basically just shaved my cat's butt but did nothing to address the infection. I declin... read more

Do not ever take your pets here. The staff is uneducated and rude. I called to get a quote on de-wormer and a fecal Erin was so rude saying she thinks the fecals are $60 dollars... You think? Then proceeded to say they needed to see the animal to give me an accurate quote. Never again will i even call for anything, so rude.

It's hard to write a one-star review for this clinic, because the vets are terrific. It's getting to see them that's hard, if not impossible, and believe me, this is not a one-time problem. You probably work a 9-5 job, or something close to it. If so, you're going to have a tough time getting to the clinic after work, because it closes at 6. I got there once at 5:45-5:50 and, despite several calls making sure they'd see our yellow lab, they turned me away when I got there. That is not great, but understandable. Today, th... read more

Companion pet clinic is what I call "upsellers". Think Jiffy Lube (which is exactly what I told the vet, BTW). We took our cat in to be spayed, and our dog in to have his dermatitis looked at. The vet came in with a clipboard, went down the list of everything he thought my cat and dog should be treated for (not actual conditions, mind you...just "preventative"), I told him no thank you, we treat for fleas and will treat anything else AS IT ARISES. He kept on though, and finally I said "I feel like I am at Jiffy Lube right ... read more

Two hours in a dirty vets office to get a discounted puppy shot? No thank you.... Not the way I'm going to start my new relationship with my pooch...

The money you save--which is maybe 10 or 15% compared to other vets--is not worth the incompetence and rudeness. I'd previously made peace with the sub par service at CPC, but like so many of those before and after me, I've had my fill. It started about two months ago when I called to order a 3 month supply of meds for my dog who suffers from hip dysplasia, as well as some dasuquin medicated treats for the same malady. They require 24 hours notice, I gave them 72. I call ahead to make sure I can pick it up. I arrive to an e... read more

Do not be fooled that they charge less than other vets. They will talk you into extra tests. I recently took my kitty there because she developed a growth and was dropping weight. They told me she likely has cancer and then ran tests to supposedly find out. They X-rayed her, they biopsied, they did blood work. My bill was over $600. They were to call me with results~almost 2 weeks went by and I called them for the results. They had nothing, no results "they had not come in yet". I will never go there again for anything. They... read more
