WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!! IN MY YELP HISTORY Ive never given one star ever. I want to put a negative one hundred star review because I've had such a bad experience here. Omg these people are the worse. I just went into get two of my dogs a travel certificate for their flight fm Portland to Baltimore. THIS TOOK TWO HOURS OF OUR LIVES THAT I WILL NEVER GET BACK. First of all these people were extremely rude they held on to my credit card for one hour and when I asked for it back the dark haired lady slammed it back on the counte... read more
This is a terrible place! If you care about your pet do not take them here! I'll try to keep this as brief as possible...I made an appointment for my cat Mimi to be spayed and declawed. Upon arrival at the clinic I checked in and was asked to pay for the services in advance which I thought was kind of odd but agreed to it anyway. I asked to speak to the veterinarian as this was Mimi's first time being seen here. They seemed a little bit put out but agreed to the consultation. The technician who came in to take her vitals was... read more
This clinic has gone way downhill. We have been going there for years but will be switching. They nickel and dime you over stupid stuff. My dog had an ear infection that they have treated him for in the past. He is prone to ear infections. Since I knew for sure that is what it was I called to ask if I could just get the medicine he had last time and save the expense of a pointless exam. They said no- they had to see him, but they would do it as a free "recheck". So I brought him in and checked in. They said nothing. After th... read more

I received a " generic " response from Companion Pet Clinic , to my previous review: Here is my response: They claim they care for my dog, yet I called about three times to speak to "clinic manager" to no avail. I also asked if I could speak to Dr, Smith who was going to perform surgery to my dog. I never received a call from her or anyone! I called three times Friday Oct 20th, 2017. No, Companion Pet clinic did not treat me like a "valued" client like their generic response claimed. Nor did they treat my dog like a valu... read more

For the last 15 years Companion Pet has taken care of our animals and overall the service has been accommodating. Recent events has forced me to reevaluate that decision. Two weeks ago, I had to take my sister-in-law's dog in for examination due to a shortness of breath. At the time, the clinic was under staffed with only one doctor who was stretched to his limit. Our initial exam was very limited resulting in an additional $620 in lab work to aid in evaluation. The doctor was very condescending, even sarcastic with his dia... read more

Worst experience ever. The doctor is terrible there. An old man doctor there who is very unkind and insensitive . Diagnosed my dog without test or x-rays, placing fear into owners. Brought my dog in, doctor spent very little time communicating with me. Then said that my dog had cancer. Went for a second opinion, a nice man then reassured me after X-rays that my dog did not have cancer. Will never bring my dog there again.

Dr. Smith is awesome. The desk staff is the worst! Not helpful and judgmental, every call to them is a frustration.
Business response:

Not one person at this clinic was compassionate. In fact, they were all flat out rude. Reception, Techs, and the veterinarians. If you hate your job and have no joy from animals you need a new occupation. The reason I went to companion is because I was told they were affordable. $400 for an ear infection and a skin allergy is far from it. Don't subject yourself or your pets to these inhumane employees. You won't pay any less and you'll leave feel unsatisfied, unknowledgable on how to help your pet, and ripped off. I adopted ... read more

We brought our new puppy here hoping to establish with a good vet and get some basic shots and such done. Most of the clinic staff were very friendly (especially our vet tech), the space was clean and the waiting area was very large with a kids corner which I liked a lot. The care is affordable and I never felt pressured into spending money or medications or treatments - I was just given an honest opinion and recommendations and basic information on what they advised. However, in general the clinic felt extremely imperson... read more
