My wife has spent 3 months at the facility and has received very good care. Normalyn has been an excellent case worker and Katey and Dori have done an excellent job with physical therapy. Cherice and Maracel have been excellent nurse aides taking care of my wife.

I am extremely pleased with this facility. My grandpa was in Carmel mountain before this and it was absolutely horrible. Here there is great communication and all of the staff really seem to care. They have great PT (Dr. Katie) and OT (Dorsa). The facility is also very cool. Some of the amenities are not that new, but they have such a nice patio and it is nice to hang out there. I would give the a 10/10!

Mindy Hammond is dietitian and she very good one she take her time ask very important question and very nice and friendly She can be five star service any time ,come by and check out this facility

I stayed for 30 days at Poway Healthcare Center and was well treated by the nurses and Physical and Occupational Therapists. They helped me to recover from an accident. Had me up and starting to walk again. Marlene, Reina, Ren, Maria G., Chrised, Jasmine, Anthony, Jawan all helped me a lot. Thank you and all those I did not name. You made a difficult time in my life bearable and hopeful.

Although I experienced some issues at PHC I didn't want to mix them with my review of the Activities Dept. Marietta, Tessa, and Tiffany really go above and beyond. They, especially Marietta, bring such kindness and a loving nature to everyone. Even patients/ residents having a truly rough time. You can feel their sincerity. I enjoy every minute with their positive energy.

Dad spent 3 months there. Overall, it was a pretty good experience especially with his therapy, but not so much on the nursing care side... the staff during the day versus evening and weekends were not the same experience. (Days were good) Dad needed more rehab than nursing care and OT/PT was awesome. Melissa and Theresa stood out, they were very engaged with my dad challenging and encouraging him nonstop and they stayed consistent with him. He always talked positively about them. When I first started PT I could not stand nor could I walk - no mobility no independence. In less than 21 days working with the team Katie, Doren. Ivan, and Jawad I could stand and walk- I had my mobility and independence back- I could stand and walk!

Just want to give a shoutout to the staff at Poway Healthcare. They did a really good job caring for my aunt and uncle recently two different periods. Thank you Michael and Lydia and Dorian for the accommodations. Although my aunt is happy to be home, she truly appreciated the care she received while there.

i'm in the skilled nursing section with a broken foot and leg not an easy thing to go through. the care givers are amazing, the director of nursing has made me open packages in front of her its humiliating as she had onne more person with her she told me it was because the health department made her do it because of anthrax. the health department says what shes doing is a federal perhaps they can watch you if yo and my packages ar3 a matter of privacy i still cant get my mail and one package has cost me 120.00 plus shipping... read more
