Well this will be my final review of this disgusting institution. On December 30th the nurse came in to my sons room to check his pic line. He was told that it appeared it had dislodged itself and they would need to get an x-ray before administering his antibiotics. If it in fact was dislodged it could be dangerous. This was at approximately 7:00 pm. My son fell asleep and at midnight when he was due to get his antibiotics a nurse came in to administer. My son asked if they had done xrays while he was asleep. I'm so upset to even write this, my mom had hip surgery and was transferred there for rehab. Let's say when she was transferred she was full of life!! When I came by to visit her on Friday she didn't look too good, she was complaining about her arm hurting as she had a line fracture. Apparently she had a rough nite that nite so they gave her some meds for the pain, Saturday morning when I came by she looked horrible but they just said that she was sleepy because of the meds pain... feeling like you trust the people tha... read more

Worst place on earth My sister was in there.They had no heat or hot water for an entire week. It was during the coldest time ,raining windy. So no baths etc. No portable heater were allowed even though they were promised A very stressful place. So glad she got out of there alive The staff walked around with hoodies while everybody else was freezing. The nurses brought wrong meds, late meds. You could ring for help it took 45 minutes. I will not recommend them.. they are only here for business. Case managers are horrible they even discharged my mom without a walker,they even sent her an old filthy used walker just to get rid of her.. they even said that the walker will be delivered at home the same day. Its been2 days already and were still missing her walker...

My mother had emergency gullbladder removal. There were complications and she needed to have a stint and bile tube placed. They are suppose to CLEAN rebandage (properly) the incision site and empty the bile 2 times per day. She's been there about 2 weeks now and has had 1 shower, just 1. ??? Yesterday was her follow up appt with her surgeon at his office, when they removed her dressing on the incision found it was completely infected, puss filled oozing bright red hot to the touch infected. If I could give this place no stars, I would. My dad came there for a rehab, was there for 4 days. He came in with perfect vital signs and was supposed to do some exercises after his back surgery. Evaluation took two days, there were maybe three exercises 15 minutes each. Nursing staff constantly lied to me and my mom when we wanted to find out how everything is going. I've been a patient here for only 29 hours and it has been the worst experience I've ever endured. After paramedics dropped me off at 4 pm, I had to wait until 8:30 to see my nurse to administer my medication. It has been a grueling struggle to get anything (from ice, bandages for open wound and medication that is scheduled!!) The staff is rude beyond words. Warning! Stay away from this nursing facility. My grandmother stayed here for a couple months. She was terminally ill with skin cancer and had progressive memory loss. Here are a few observations from our experience: - While my grandmother was there she was severely neglected, things were put in the chart that could not possibly be true (frequency of meds given, bowel movements, and eating/drinking patterns). Friendly, caring nursing staff. Somewhat dated facility, but clean. However, trying to get information and action from the senior staff regarding medication, diet, county services for my mother, was frustratingly slow or non-existent. Information was lacking or inconsistent. Follow-up was lacking. I am rating this a 2-star, based on what I would expect from a professional facility. However, as I've had no experience with other facilities, this actually might be excellent in comparison with others. That would be very sad.
