My dad has been recovering from a broken hip. This place is clean,the food is not bad,staff is very friendly and understanding. My dad is no picnic,he's a difficult and very grumpy old man, but they seem to be able to indulge him any way they can. For a nursing home this place is not bad at all. Also it's very convenient geographically,because Pomerado Hospital is across the street.

I love you guys. They treat you like you are family. No body is perfect right. But they are as close as your going to get. And i would know, because i was there for about one year. (Long time) And when i came there, most people thought that i was not going to make it. But there hold staff was fighting for me to get better. I mean everyone. Guess what i got better. Most people are quick to complain and when its time to give compliments they dont. I have to say I am beyond pleased with the care my mom received from ALL the staff there! They took care of her after she fell and fractured her hip. They were very courteous to her and us her kids. From the moment she arrived to today that she left they were beyond exceptional! Sarah and her team over at Poway healthcare are so resourceful. They have a wonderful physical therapy program. I work in the industry and have had a great response from patient families. Their physical therapy department has great success. I would recommend this skilled nursing and rehab facility to any family. Great team!

I fell the day before Mothers day 1018 10 days later I was admitted to Poway Health Care Center. I have been admitted to other similar centers because of health care problems. I want to say that this is the very best center I have been in. The care I receive is consistently good. the food is about an eight on the scale of 10. My room is a single room looking over a street. Hi, the only reason for 4 out of 5 I would have liked to have seen the dr assigned to me more often and the communication between staff and the dr. assigned to me be bettrer..that area needs work. I was a 21 day patient. I was attended to and treated wonderfeully. The Nurses (i.e.Mellanie) were wonderful and gracious and most of my requests to them were pain management. Sometimes being the patient you want thing immediately, but I soon learned her job duties and working me into her schedule... she was great ! The CNA's ... read more

I visited my brother here. From the front-desk receptionist to the orderly to the nurses, the positive, friendly energy here seems to be conducive to recovery. Though a dated facility, the place is spotless. My brother said that the food is good. If I needed a care center, I would definitely choose this one.

Mom just went through this facility. They were pretty communicative, and extremely helpful. Mom has memory issues, and gets confused easily. Apparently there was an issue that she had that wasn't discussed with me, but was shared later on by her (after she was discharged from the facility). Physical therapy, and the doctor on staff were both excellent, and mom really enjoyed it. They also helped place her with a home care solution (well, they provided a reference that met her budget, I did a bit of leg work on making ends me... read more
