I've been a patient here for only 29 hours and it has been the worst experience I've ever endured. After paramedics dropped me off at 4 pm, I had to wait until 8:30 to see my nurse to administer my medication. It has been a grueling struggle to get anything (from ice, bandages for open wound and medication that is scheduled!!) The staff is rude beyond words. Warning! Stay away from this nursing facility. My grandmother stayed here for a couple months. She was terminally ill with skin cancer and had progressive memory loss. Here are a few observations from our experience: - While my grandmother was there she was severely neglected, things were put in the chart that could not possibly be true (frequency of meds given, bowel movements, and eating/drinking patterns). Friendly, caring nursing staff. Somewhat dated facility, but clean. However, trying to get information and action from the senior staff regarding medication, diet, county services for my mother, was frustratingly slow or non-existent. Information was lacking or inconsistent. Follow-up was lacking. I am rating this a 2-star, based on what I would expect from a professional facility. However, as I've had no experience with other facilities, this actually might be excellent in comparison with others. That would be very sad.

I would not recommend this place. We couldn't get anyone to help us and then when my father was checked out on a Saturday we didn't get any of the new meds that were prescribed to hold us over for the weekend. I too wonder what it's like when no family member is there to monitor. The discharge papers medicine list had the same meds listed many times and some other errors.

I was doing some work with a patient and the nurses are extremely rude. I saw a few different staff members fool with patients (changing them) taking them to the restroom and come out with the same gloves and touch another patient..... Wow I couldn't believe it. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

It's bad.... Really bad... Very unorganized .... Can't find discharge papers... Very unprofessional...just wonder what goes on when no is here to observe. Do not recommend . I'm sure there are not more bad reviews because patients have no access to intranet. Incredible to make patient wait while everyone searches for papers.

I'd give this place a zero if I could. The center makes a lot of promises upfront but there was no follow through. I was told that we would have a family conference within the first week to establish a healthcare plan, but never had one. After paying money upfront for my father's care, the bill for the doctor visit, whom we never met, was sent to our house. Don't waste your money here. Not to mention the bed sores and infrequent visits into the room. There are some great CNAs but they are overworked and I'm sure underpaid. ... read more
