Great down to earth service. It's been our first visit and they seem Professional, Honest, humble and most nice and seem to know what they are doing. Didn't offer more than what's necessary and didn't rush us out just to take their next client. Will definitely be coming back and hoping they will stay this way.
We moved here 3 years ago with our two dogs (Tito and Turkey) since then we've added a third, Auri (were crazy). Pure paws is awesome. All of their techs and doctors are helpful and care about my babies. Dr Liff knows my dogs and is always asking how we're doing when we pop in for those treats at the front desk during our walks. It's so easy to make and cancel appointments too which is helpful. Their hours are great - they're open 7 days a week. I recommend pure paws if you're looking for a vet
So grateful to this local vet! I usually have to take my pup all the way to bk, but had an emergency that couldn't wait. Located near me, the Dr answered the phone and accommodated my last minute scheduling request in between surgeries. Dr. Stephanie Liff gently examined my baby and was able to provide the care and medicines he needs. She was wonderful! Blessing to have them near by. Ive been hopping around vets for the past few years to find the right one, 3 in 3 years and 5 overall since I've been in NYC. Finally have found the perfect team in Dr Liff and Dr Schecter. Dr Liff listened to my wishes for holistic healing, which vaccines I didn't want to participate in and didn't push anything for additional $$. She has your dog's best interest in mind. My pup came down with a sudden issue. We called Pure Paws and they fit us in within an hour. Staff there was thorough, professional, helpful and polite. Our Vet - Dr Alex went through the proposed treatment plan very carefully. He also took time to listen and answer all questions. He promised to call the next day to follow up and go through test results... which he did and I appreciate that it was in the morning and I wasn't worrying all day. Very happy we went there. Dr. Liff is great - and the tech team is great, Erik, Kevin, Lisette. And Jennifer at the front desk is terrific and helpful. My girl (cat) is delicate and they know all there is about her health issues. They are there to help me do what is best for my pet.
My past experience several years ago kept me going back to Pure Paws. I adopted two feral cats because I had no idea at the time what that meant! I have an arm injury that hinders me not only catching but attempting to put a squirming, hissing, live, clawed being in a carrier is impossible. Pure Paws is in my hood & helped me a few years ago!! The recent visits with my aging, yet feisty feral was comforting. The office is the right amount of friendly & they are compassionate, accommodating & skilled.

Super flexible and available, no long waits for appointments. The staff is so supportive and friendly and they've always take great care of my little senior Pom. They always review the itemized costs of all the exam, procedures, and medications. They include everything that could be needed or is recommended but are also transparent about what's fully necessary if the recommendations are outside your budget, which I always appreciate.
