I'm a first time pet mom to a 9 year old rescue kitty who is my world, and I honestly wouldn't take her anywhere but Pure Paws. All of the techs are wonderful and the doctors are amazing. They call when they say they will (which is a big plus when you're waiting to hear if your fur baby is okay) and they take as much time as you need, patiently answering any question you have. They'll work with you to find the right treatment options for your pet and I always feel like I'm doing right by Chicken when I bring her there.
This place is THE BEST! Finally found a fabulous vet in Manhattan. We have been somewhat nomadic since our last vet retired. We experienced other places that had high turnover, mediocre diagnostics, or outrageous prices. So finding Pure Paws is nothing short of good fortune. As if the other reviews of Dr. Liff & Pure Paws dont say enough...yes, she is amazing and yes, you should absolutely bring your pets here! As a new pet owner, finding a reliable vet in NYC can be a challenge...Pure Paws has been rated as one of the best, most reliable veterinary clinics in town, and I couldn't agree more!

Great staff. Very clean facilities. They really listen to everything I have to say, even when I feel like it's small and probably nonsense. They truly care about animals and it shows in their work.

I recently moved from CA to NYC and was in need of a new vet for my two cats. I researched vets in midtown & UWS and am glad I chose Pure Paws! One of my cats had a a swollen lip so needed to be seen. The front desk was pleasant to work with and did the trouble of getting the vet records from our prior vet. I scheduled an appt with Dr. Alex and had no trouble getting an appt, especially as a new patient. I just moved to New York last week and with all the stress of moving and a long road trip, money spent and more, I didn't think anything else could come up to take up more time, money or make me more stressed or worried, but of course one of my two dogs developed an ear infection and it was at its worst in the 2nd day we arrived so I had to look for a local vet last minute.
