From the staff that greeted us and sat us. To the band that was playing and the waitstaff everything was fantastic! Then there is the food...try the yellowtail with jalepeno sashimi! The clam chowder is yummy! We can't wait to go back to New York to eat there again!!

The lady singing and playing piano in the bar area is a superstar. Best part of the night was listening to her. We have been there several times when in NYC and will go back.

The food was excellent. The service was very good. However it was very expensive, but given the location, it is a touristy area. They do have a prix fix dinner which is very reasonable. But if you go off that list, the steaks are almost 60 dollars, which is more than a great steakhouse. There was also entertainment with a singer and piano player. At times, it felt like i was in a bad karaoke club.

WE have been to Red Eye many times over the years. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because it does not have the stuffy atmosphere of the 5 star restaurants. The food is great, the service warm and friendly, and we have never been disappointed. From the smoked salmon sampler to everything else, I cannot tell you of a meal we haven't loved. If you want super casual, sit around the fresh seafood bar. Awesome.

Their three course luncheon special is good value. Their chicken Cobb Salad is amazing, but priced on the high side. Don't forget the chocolate on the way out.

I hadn't been to Redeye Grill in years and after a Carnegie Hall concert, figured it was worth going down memory lane. I always used to love this restaurant and it was not what I remember. It looks tired, service was just OK even though there weren't many diners and food was not great and not worth the prices for the quality. Won't be going back any time soon

Truly enjoyed our brunch and bottomless Bellini's and Kir Royales. Food was wonderful. Eggs Benedict cooked perfectly. Our server, Sean was perfect. He made the whole meal even better! Would definitely recommend. Front of the House staff was very welcoming.

We stopped in after a show and were glad we did. The menu had many choices that looked amazing! We had a nice table in the front section which was small and quiet. Look forward to eating there again!

Went here before attending Carnegie Hall. The service was decent, however for New York, and most importantly for Manhattan, the food just wasn't lacking. After being in New York for a week, I would say that we came to expect high quality food preparation. The service was here and there, not incredibly attentive. The bathrooms were a mess. The bar entertainment was spectacular. The price was ridiculous for the quality of food. I would not recommend this place for the price. There are so many other options available in close p... read more
