Dinner for two plus two glasses of wine ran $200. A bit pricey (even for New York City), but the food was excellent and we had a great time. I guess that's what it's all about!

Fish cooked perfectly--service great, except when the bus boy brought the choice of bread with only 3 little pieces on the tray-must say he did come back later with more choices-

The food was delicious ... A little pricey but that's New York! The restaurant was very nice

We have had dinners at the Redeye Grill many times over the past year. and have continually had an excellent meal, enah nced by a terrific and friendly waitstaff. The fish dishes were prepared to order and consideration was given to food allergies. We would highly recommend Redeye for anyone wanting a truly great meal, without feeling that they are in a tourist restaurant.

we went here for a special occasion, and we had a great time. the menu is solid (not the best if you're a vegetarian, but then the name of the place should be a warning of that), the decor is great, and best of all the wait staff & bartenders are trained to a T.

It had been several years since I last ate at the Redeye Grill. Now I remember why. This reliable Carnegie Hall neighbor was pleasant and the food was fine. But, the price tag was significant for what the restaurant represents. Overall, it was good, but watch for the sticker shock at the end of the meal.

The food was excellent but the prices are rather high. The drinks were small and very pricey. $16 for what was little more than an ounce of bourbon is off the wall. Our service was excellent and very attentive. The main reason for our being there was the location close to Carnegie Hall. Probably a fine place to dine for out of town visitors.

While everyone in our party loved the food, service, and ambience, we all agreed that the fish selections were prepared and presented in a "perfect" way. The miso cod was amazing, and the tuna was almost beyond description. Perhaps the best clam chowder I've had in NY. And the host periodically appeared with did-bits of joy from the chef ranging from cheese toasts to chocolate chip cookies at the end. A DEFINITE return for us!
