The seafood platter was delicious. We shared this as a main course and thoroughly enjoyed the selection of clams, oysters, crabmeat, jumbo shrimp and calamari. Redeye is always super busy on evenings when Carnegie Hall has a performance, but the staff always makes sure that you are able to enjoy your meal at the pace needed to get you to the performance on time. Close to my hotel- great business lunch spot. Food is amazing Price fixed lunch is always delicious!
After many visits, I have never been disappointed. Get the smoked salmon sampler, clam chowder or shrimp / smoked salmon combo. Miso cod excellent as is all other seafood entrees.
The restaurant on a Monday at noonish was not crowded, but filled up after 1:00pm. The table was good and the service excellent. The waiter gave us plenty of time for our drinks before we ordered. We both had the same thing….Cobb salad with chicken. The portion was huge and perhaps the waiter could suggest we share one and have a different main to share too.as we would have had variety and enjoyed the sharing. One of my new favorite places in NYC!
This is a perfect restaurant for a pre-theater dinnner. A welcoming staff, a beautiful room, a menu with great variety and good service. THen just a hop, skip and a jump to City Center.
My guests and i enjoyed every minute, dining at the Red Eye Grill . I would recommend this fine restaurant to everyone i know. Every employee has such great passion in what they do and the food is outstanding, it blows top steak and seafood houses of NYC out of the water.
What an exceptional dining experience! Returning to Redeye after a not-so-positive experience, we were treated like royalty. Everyone from the Maître D (Alessandro) to our server (Maureen) rolled out the red carpet to make our lunch special. Even going so far as to make an off the menu request from scratch.
