They took down the famous mural which I miss, but otherwise it just more expensive with more fish than meat on the menu. A new dish- lasagna with lobster and crabmeat was outstanding.the banana cream pie continues to be the second best in NY.

Excllent on all counts--early in the evening the bar noise depending upon size of groups can get a little robust, but quiets down after 7:30--but not a negative--

Redeye Grill is in a great location and the menu is fantastic - something for everyone. The food we ordered was good, but mine was basically a plain, grilled fish with veggies and I could have made it myself. I was very disappointed that my favorite dish, a mediterranean fish dish cooked in a clay pot had been removed from the menu. Luckily, the waiter gave me the recipe, so I can cook it at home now. :) We also had to wait for a table and the manager gave us complimentary prosecco while we waited.

The Redeye Grill has found its stride after always very good service to now exceptional. The Maitre'D has a good sense for what type of table and location to fit your needs.

Personable service. Great food. Thoughtful extras, such as fresh-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookies and chocolate pieces at the host stand.

I was looking for a place with seafood and found this place because it was the "home of the dancing shrimp". I mean how can you go wrong with a motto like that? right? Well it lived up to all my expectations and more. We were there for my daughters 21st birthday. 6 of us all together. We had the seafood tower and 2 of us had salads. The tower was amazing with fresh lobster, oysters, clams, crabs, and these monster shrimp. We enjoyed it very much. Me ordered mostly Steaks. They only had the bone in which is more expensive. The food was very good as always. On this particular occasion, the service was slower than usual. Still one of my favorites and in my rotation.

Dining outdoors for Suhday Brunch at the corner of 56th Street and 7th Ave was stimulating and energetic. Our waitress was charming, welcoming and made our meal with our daughter and son-in-law most enjoyable. The Dover sole dish is one that must be experienced and my daughter and I enjoyed the delicious pasta and duck dish. This was our second visit to Redeye Grill and will not be our last. ...one of our favorites when we stay at The Manhattan Club.

I like this place for a business lunch. The service is polite and helpful but not overbearing. The food is better than it has to be considering the location. It's a huge spot but still manages to feel intimate. Pricey but not outrageous.
