Convenient; nice bar; food reasonably good
excellent-would definitely eat there again when in the NY
service & food were 1st. rate. fresh sea food and even though it wasn't a sushi restaurant, the sushi was amazing!

On our rare trips to New York, Redeye Grill has become a ragular & favorite place for dinner. On Tuesday, the Diver scallops were wonderful - large, perfectly pan seared, over mushrooms. Our one complaint is a standard one in Manhattan: prices are high - noticeably higher than a dinner two years ago.
Food was very good, but the restaurant excelled in service. Easily the best customer service in a restaurant encountered during the visit to NYC.
An out of town friend and I enjoyed dinner at the Redeye Grill. The staff was remarkable and friendly and our dinners were excellent. Overall this is a good choice when looking for a solid dinner experience.
When I go to NY I always try to get to the RedEye for Lunch as I have always found the food and ambiance to be perfect for a great lunch and people watch. This time I was very disappointed as we checked in for our reservation which I made with a window seat to find that they could not seat us there and placed us in the "cafe". Not the same. The food was good and the service was very attentive. I am definetly going to try a new lunch location on my next trip.
