It's in my neighborhood but i have ignored it for years. A mistake on my part. We will definitely be back.

One of our favorites! The food and service are consistently excellent. It's a great place to go before the theater or a concert at Carnegie Hall because the wait staff is responsive to requests to finish dinner in time for a curtain.

We went at an off time, 4:30 on a Sunday. They were just setting up for dinner service and we were given dinner menus which was what we wanted. Menu is overpriced, hard to find an entree for under $30: steak frites was $35, braised short ribs $38, mixed green salad was $18, wine by the glass was $15. Numbers added up fast and food quality didn't justify pricing in my opinion. Also, service was excellent until we couldn't find waiter to ask for our check. This added 10 unnecessary minutes to our meal.

A winner for many years. The service is great - typical of restaurants owned by Shelly Fireman. Almost a forgotten art in restaurants these days. A place where people take professional pride in the honorable work of customer service. Bravo.

Had good food and a great waitress the other day. Great lunch spot for business meetings!

Love the reliability of Red Eye. Cobb Salad is still one of best around and it's perfect post-theatre. Wait staff could not be nicer, especially at a late hour. We do miss the raw-bar that used to be in the front of the dining room but the now-present wooden wall doesn't change the experience overall.

This is one of our local favorites on our trips to NYC. This last trip, it was both our first place to eat upon our arrival and the last place to eat before returning to the airport. My husband says their Cobb Salad is the best he has ever had but, beware, it is very large. This time, we added lobster to the salad and shared. Their clam chowder is also fabulous but very rich. I can't think of anything on the menu I would not recommend. The biggest challenge is deciding what to order!

Wonderful evening. We have been to Redeye Grill other times, but the food this time was just about perfect. The fish was so fresh and it was simply prepared and plated beautifully. Everything we ate was just delicious. The staff is also so pleasant--attentive without being cloying.

A ten minute walk from upper Times Square, it caters to locals and tourists alike. Great for lunch or pre-theatre dinner. Hot fried calamari and peppers are excellent. Cob salad serves two. Great, personable service.
