Get directionsI met a client here for lunch.Good food and service. Reasonable price for NYC. Ambiance was very nice.
A few blocks from Central Park and the theater district, right across the street from Carnegie Hall. Food was good. Service a little slow. Pricey.
The food was well prepared and the environment and service was first rate but the prices were a little steep. I will dine here again after my Amex bill is paid.
We went into NYC for lunch and a Broadway matinee. The restaurant was within walking distance to the theater, and has a great reputation. It exceeded expectations. Staff was attentive and friendly; great menu. My lobster roll was as if we just got off the boat in Maine. Our waiter got backed up a few minutes for a drink order; when he returned with it he added two complementary glasses of champagne to apologize for the short wait. Redeye Grill is uneven. When the food and service are good, they're very good, but sometimes they falter. My wife and I each had an entree salad for lunch. Mine (Chinese chicken) was excellent. What a wonderful place to dine. The service, ambiance and food were wonderful. When you are sitting in this beautiful decorated room where the tables are graciously spaced you could stay there all day. The brunch menu has a variety of delicious choices. The wait staff couldn't have been friendlier. They really go out of there way to make your experience special. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the city. it's like the Trevi Fountain...once you put your coins in you'll keep coming back.
Fabulous for a special occasion.
The food was excellent. It was a little noisy as we were there in the height of the mid-week lunch hour. Would have been much happier if OpenTable actually accepted points for my reservation, which they've decided not to do.
Wonderful dinner and great waiter. Lasagna made from lobster and crab was terrific, as were the diver scallops.
