This is as favorite restaurant. Thought I live on the Upper East Side, its a good mid-point to meet people. The food is always excellent.
We had a table by the kitchen which was not ideal for an expensive special family dinner. The food was good, but not up to the prices.
The food was outstanding and we ate there on Thanksgiving. The only problem we had was finding our waiter in occasion which honestly is to be expected on a holiday. They had a very diverse menu, decent wine list and overall great atmosphere.
The Redeye is one of our favorites in Midtown. It stands out from the pack with its elegant interior, superb selection of entrees, and dependable service. It is not cheap but well worth it. It is everything a Manhattan restaurant should be.
was seated in a window area right of entrance rather than main dining room. Since I wanted my guest to enjoy the beauty overall, I should have requested the main room. But it was quiet & looked out on 7th ave & rain making it cozy. Food was terrific, new england chowder & onion soup got raves. Caesar salad also top notch. would always choose to return again.
Don't miss the house Cobb Salad, its quite remarkable. Although the noise level might make you wish you wore a hearing aid so you could turn it off. Still, I like the place.
Extensive choice. Each item was well prepared and tasty. Outstanding waiter. We will go back again.
Food and service was great. Location very convenient pre-theatre.
