Consistently good fare. A little pricy with wines $16 a glass, brunch items $22-$30 with no sides, and desserts $12. Brunch for 5 was over $300 including gratuity.
The tuna salad nicoise was rather skimpy for the price. If they could cut the tuna any thiner it would have be call tuna salad carparccio. I won't be going back for lunch there again. It's mostly for people with a corporate budget. Also the glass of wine was the a little on the small size. They are cutting costs by skimping on drinks too.

One of our favorite New York City restaurants. Always delicious food and impeccable service in a lovely location across from Carnegie Hall. Wonderful for a special occasion. Treated royally. The Dove Sole is outstanding!
The Redeye Grill has a very full menu with a broad range of food from meat and German dishes such as schnitzels to a vast sushi bar. It is crowded, busy and loud for dinner but the large space and 30 foot windows make this fun rather than burdensome. Waiters make helpful suggestions and you will make your theater date on time.
I have gone here on many occasions for work and pleasure and have never been diasappointed. The menu has something for everyone - excellent fish, great steaks and other specials. I would highly recommend the Redeye Grill.
I went during restaurant week for lunch and the food from the restaurant week menu was ok, salmon was very fishy tasting (not so fresh). I think food from the regular menu is better.
Across the street from Carnegie Hall. Excellent fish, especially the dover sole! Plus steak and a comprehensive menu. Efficient service. Not too noisy.
