I've been to this restaurant on many occasions and have not been disappointed with the fish entrees.Since this is their speciality I have not tried any beef or poultry. I don't order dessert so I cannot comment on their dishes. The ambiance is nice and spacious for a NY restaurant. Unfortuately,two times we unlucky to get a waiter named, Brian, who was rude, sarcastic and condescending. This will not prevent us from going back, but we will make sure he is NOT our waiter. The food was excellent and slso the service. The menu was extensive and there was a prix fix and also specials on the day I dined. I would return to the restaurant in the future.
Very noisy, but unique atmosphere. Great place to go to pre-show. Something for everyone, large strong drinks, and friendly service. A little touristy due to the location.
This restaurant is consistently excellent, from the service to the food, and all staff, whether it be the host/hostess, wait or bus staff all make you feel very welcome and catered to. Sometimes, during busy times, there is somewhat of a delay in service, but I guess that is to be expected, and the food is well worth the wait!
Delicious food and great service. We had the filet mignon, salmon, cheesecake and apple pie, everything was delectable. This was my first time at Redeye but I won’t be my last.

Our dinner at the Red Eye was great. The food was superb and the service was excellent. Our only complaint was with Open Table itself which led us to believe that the Prix-Fixe menu from the New York Dining Specials was available on the night we selected, which turned out to be completely incorrect.
The food was very good - fresh, well prepared and with more than just a splash of imagination. There's the main room, which is brightly lit, warm and fairly, but not too noisy. And then there's a side room, which is dim, quiet, and cold. And I do mean cold. We asked the waiter to have the heat turned up several times, which is too bad since the food was delightful and should be enjoyed in a suitable environment. I'm sure that if you eat in the main room you'll have an enjoyable eating experience.
Very pleasant experience all around.
