Thanks to the LIRR, my husband was 30 minutes late for our reservation. However, even with the rest of the diners looking to get out before 8 PM our waiter managed to get our food to us quickly enough that we made it to our concert just in time. And the food was wonderful! We will be back for a more leisurely dinner and hopefully soon!

Very good fish and seafood dishes in an attractive comfortable environment. Convevience to Carnegie Hall is a big plus. A littlr pricey.

The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. I have no criticisms and many good things to say about this experience. We will go back and often. For an evening at Carnegie Hall, this is about as good as it gets.

We can be quite fussy about food and service as we dine out constantly. This restaurant was very impressive. The food was excellent - every dish had great flavor and visual appeal. Very impressed with how accommodating they were with varying the offerings. You can have just about anything prepared any way you want it. They actually ask: "do you want your spinach steamed or sauteed"? One member in our group had severe dietary constraints. When I made the reservation on Open Table I specified her needs. Across the street from Carnegie Hall, I think this restaurant is just a bit too fancy for my taste. The food was good, especially the smoked salmon duo appetizer, and the service was attentive. Unfortunately, there was a bit of the New York pomposity that I don't think would have been present if the restaurant was in a less touristy, more local-oriented neighborhood.
