Haven't been there in years and it was just as good as I remembered. I highly recommend it. It has a good vibe.
The Lobster Pot Pie was outstanding and you can't miss the Banana Cream Pie! For some reason my order was messed up and they brought me the fillet instead of the Lobster Pot Pie. The server realized the mistake and immediately informed the chef. He was very apologetic and gave me free shrimp cocktails to eat while I was waiting for my food.
I have never had a bad meal at Redeye Grill! The food, timing and ambiance were all perfect, and you never feel rushed, even though they do a brisk business during lunchtime.
This restaurant was amazing from the start to the finish. We were late for our scheduled reservations and they were pleasant and understanding. On top of that we had an extra two people arrive [making us a total party of 10] for which Red Eye was so pleasant and accommodating.They were attentive to the fact that my son [10 yrs]had food sensitivity. could have been better; initially we were seated on the aisle to the kitchen in consequence of which there was a steady team of foot traffic past our table - this is in spite of the fact that there were many empty tables and we had a reservation; On the Open Table reservation I had indicated that I needed an entre with out a particular ingredient. This is the second time to this restaurant in a week. Wanted to see if the first time was just luck. We had reservations at 7:00 and were seated promptly. All were extremely professional and pleasant. Our waitress was knowledgeable and very pleasant. The food arrived with a wonderful presentation. It was perfectly seasoned and was hot. I found this gem of a restaurant by accident while looking for a place near the theatre I would be attending. I was surprised that it was not busy when we arrived but pleasantly surprised at the food. My companion and I both quite enjoyed our meals. The food tasted wonderful, the presentation was spectacular. It is definitely worth visiting.
We on a trip to NY for Mother's Day and visited RedEye Grill. We had a wonderful dining experience. They had a Spring Prefix 3-course selection on the menu, that was wonderful and economical. The seafood was very fresh, the filet mignon was cooked to perfection and very tender. The waitstaff was very attentive. My mom and I really enjoyed dining at this restaurant.
I needed to change my party size at the last minute. there was NO ONE TO TALK TO. You dial their number and it is an outgoing message only. I had to press 2 for a take away order and then got a human being on the phone.
