Horrible place. When you call on the phone, they try to make it sound like it is low cost - and the "office visit" is less than other vets in this area ($29 instead of $40) -- but their medication and other services are TWICE the price of other vets!! And they lure you in by refusing to quote prices for other services and/or medication on the phone. I'm sure the medication is a set price; why can't you tell me how much a very specific item is going to be when I already know the quantity and dosage? Ridiculous. Bite the ... read more

If I could do negative stars I would. I just picked up my dogs from their usual vet and the dog that Value Pet clinic had said would need 3 molars pulled for an additional $500 does not need to have his teeth pulled. The vet checked all of them and said they were completely fine and in good shape. This stupid clinic would have pulled out perfectly fine teeth just to get more money from you. Save your dog the pain and avoid this place at all costs. My normal vet is chambers prairie in Olympia, wa. They are wonderful, not shad... read more

I'm DONE. NO STAR RATING. Value Pet Care? That's ironic. If you need care beyond basic shots, do yourself and your pet a favor and take them elsewhere. I have been billed for services not rendered, and have not been given services I have asked for (yet again). Today was the final straw!! I took a fecal sample in for testing, and SPECIFIED that I needed it checked for bacterial and BLOOD (due to exisiting issues I'm having with my pet) and when receiving the call from Dr Nicholson today...I was told that there were no... read more

This is the first review I have ever written for anything, but I feel that I have to share my experience. I will keep it somewhat short and sweet... 1. My first visit with my 3 month old puppy. Not only were they not able to answer some of my most basic questions, but the doctor "got distracted" and inserted a shot into my pups mouth instead of her shoulder like she was supposed to (how you mess this up I do not know). After her face dropped and she said "oops", she scooped my baby up and into the back room with no explanat... read more

Very disappointed. My dog went in for a surgery, had a difficult recovery yet they didn't seem to be concerned that she hadn't been able to keep food down since the surgery. I've lost confidence in the doctor's abilities to assess my dog's health issue--- one doctor seemed unsure about treatment, the operating doctor wasn't knowledgeable about the tooth removal diagram. I wasn't given good instructions on what to expect from their treatment or how long to take medications, or alternatives to feeding my dog. My dog went i... read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. They gave my dog a fake diagnosis and some medication hoping it would make whatever he had, go away. Well it did, but now that I know the truth a few months later, I realize that their misdiagnosis could have killed my dog. I also had taken my cat in for her immunizations and they "forgot" to give her a critical one, and gave her a rabies shot that I did not give consent on. I will NEVER be taking my animals back to them EVER AGAIN.

The treatment I got here was HORRIBLE. I brought my cat in because he was not able to urinate. The estimate they gave me was $750. I did not have that much money accessible. I had literally just pain my credit card that morning and the payment would not go through until that night or at the latest the next morning. I explained my situation, and said I would even leave my cat there as collateral until my payment went through (in less than 24 hours), so that way my cat would not have to suffer any longer, and it would guarant... read more

I took my 10 year old English Bull Terrier here twice in the past month due to extreme coughing (looked like she was about to vomit after each cough) and even took video of her coughing episodes. I showed the vet the video to which she said it was a reverse sneeze. Last night she crashed, I called Value to see if they could see her but since I was low on cash (already paid 80 dollars for two visits with no results) they said they couldn't help. I took her to another vet that was willing to work out a payment arrangement an... read more

Worst place ever. They are extremely disorganized they had a few files for dog. On top of that I would ask when she needed her shots next and they said she is fine. When I finally went back because she needed her rabies shot they couldn't find her file. Luckily I had copies of my receipts forgot dog. They mentioned they had two files for her and that she needs to redo her shots. Seriously ! Worse vet ever very disappointed
