This place definitely needs more staff..... One day i waited an hour had to leave because it was such a long wait, came back the next day waited almost 2 hours to get a 30 second rabies shot!!! Will definitely go elsewhere

They scheduled my senior dog for drop off at 8 a.m. for a dental cleaning and at 1:30 they hadn't even started. When I picked him up they claimed he had pooped and had diarrhea in his kennel. No doubt, keeping a senior dog in a kennel for 9 hours seems insensitive. They claimed he was nervous. No doubt. When they brought him out to me he stunk so bad I almost gagged. Horrible experience here from wait time, billing and follow-up. I brought my dog in for a wellness exam and was told it was a 1 hour wait. I waited for over 4 hours even though the staff kept telling me 30 more minutes. The vet ordered follow up tests and I was told the results would be back in 2 days and it took a week. Then they over-billed me for the office visit from the quoted amount they gave me. After my visit, I felt almost swindled by this place, after checking the prices and confirming the costs were in no way a 'value' when compared to other local low cost vets.

We've taken Daisy, our rescue dog to Value Pet Clinic-Renton for three years for her required vaccine shots as well as her annual dental cleaning and comprehensive physical exam which includes a full blood chemistry workup and heartworm test, which always comes back negative for heartworm because she is on a monthly heartworm preventative pill. Very disappointed. Had to put my dog down two weeks ago. Called last week to see when his paw print would be ready for me. They said I would receive a sympathy card along with the paw print. Still have not received anything. I know it is not much, but would really like some sort of token of my lost pet of 15 years. The procedure was simple and staff was very caring, but all I ask is a token of my pets life, and two plus weeks seems too long. The staff is friendly, but I could do without the unnecessary add-ons and extremely long wait. I feel like I am at a used car lot and not the vet. At one visit, I came specifically for rabies shots for my cats, and agreed to additional vaccinations, only to be told that now that the additional vaccinations had been done, I could no longer get the rabies shots, but would need to come back at a later time and pay another wellness-exam fee before I could get the rabies shots I had come for in the first place.

I will not go back to this office. While the staff is very nice it is obvious that they will rip you off. I have gone there twice where they have wanted to do unnecessary testing. I mFirst off, when you arrive they give you paperwork asking if you want all these extra things. I went with my dog and I was almost positive he had conjunctivitis. When we went into the exam room, the vet came in and the first thing she wanted to do was check him for glaucoma and see if he has a scratch on his eye. She never even mentioned conjun... read more

This place seriously disgusts me. We took a sick runt from the litter here to get checked and the vet barely touched him or examined him and immediately tried to urge us to put him down. let me start with the fact that it looked like they had no experience working with a runt puppy before nor did they have any intentions of helping. We took him to another vet who actually treated him and he is now healthy.
