Let's face it- veterinary care can be pretty expensive. I've visited Value Pet Clinic when my normal vet doesn't have a last minute appointment or if it's the weekend. It's great that this place is now open 7 days a week. Before I've had a problem on a weekend and I've had to visit the emergency vet which cost well over $700. I'll be honest- the vet techs here aren't my favorite. They don't seem very professional and one girl was downright a bit rude. The vet that saw our dog though was super nice, very friendly and is someo... read more

My dog (Yorkie) named GiGi almost died and I can say today she is bouncing back like nothing happened thanks to Value Pet Clinic in Renton. They have always given us great service at great prices in the past. Not sure if Gi possible got into ice melt from last storm but she definitely had some kind of poison in her system. They worked diligently bringing all their resources together to give her the best chance of my survival. I can't thank them enough and I think she is going to be ok. It was touch and go for awhile. With th... read more

I've taken my Kitty here a few times since she is still young and completely indoors. The first visit was to update her shots, but she had a cold and it's not recommended to vaccinate while they are sick. My second visit recently was to update shots and try and get rid of the fleas my new roommate brought with her. (ick) The staff is always very friendly, nice and sweet to my cat. They are helpful and answer any questions I have. They even helped me put the flea meds on my cat since it's had for me to do it properly myself... read more

Usually I go to Burien Veterinary Hospital, but the price for a spay was $240! and after puppy's gardia, hook worms, pink eye, tape worm, and reverse sneezing visits, I just couldn't afford another huge bill. I called the Seattle Humane society, and I was quoted $64 but the wait was 1 month, and since I was taking her to dallas with me in little over a week, I needed to find another place, they told me about Value Pet Clinic, that the procedure was $79 but if I could get a coupon it was $39.50. I found the coupon online (th... read more

We've been using Value Pet Clinic in Renton for nearly two years now- not only taking both of our dogs but our two cats as well. All of our family members also bring their animals here as well- the vets are amazing, the staff is super friendly (my dogs are actually insanely excited to go to the vets!), and the service is wonderful. We've had procedures done through them, and also been referred to another service when our dog fractured the growth plate in her knee. I will continue to go to this vet, and not a single family me... read more

I'm not sure what happened here--it used to be great many years ago. They cared and tried to work patients in. Now, it feels like the staff doesn't want to be bothered. Something unfortunate happened to my dog here, and while I understand accidents happen, the way I was treated left me upset. When I picked up my dog's ashes, they included another dog's collar and didn't even apologize (if they are mixing up dog collars, what else got mixed up)? The lack of care in their tone really made me feel undervalued as a customer. Tho... read more

I need to find a new clinic. They provide okay service. but getting in to see one of their vets is an ardious process. You can call , they won't call you back. You can text, they won't text you back. They'll finally tell you that they are experiencing long wait times and it may take months to see a vet. This of course is delivered by a bot and you never actually get to even queue. You love your pets? They'll die of old age and they'll know it.

This little clinic has a nice waiting area and appears nice but once you take your pet hear they try and get you to do unnecessary lab work on your pet. Who ever heard of doing routine lab work on dog that's healthy. I had already written them off because of this habit. It happened to me with all 3 of my dogs. Recently I had to have one of my dogs put down. They were the only ones with an open appointment. I thought what could go wrong. Boy was I wrong. The handling of this was without any compassion what's so ever. ... read more

This vet has gone down hill so much. Every time I come in there are issues and the staff rude, impatient and there's always, always an excuse. They are rude to the patients, providers, other staff and other clinics. Appointments magically disappear, they are cruel to the animals if they don't like you, make you wait if they also feel the need. They use to have such wonder staff and customer service but now if I could give this place a zero rating I would. I certainly understand that Covid has changed things but poor Covid ca... read more
