After i did the deal you try to get a hold you you never answer my calls i leave a msg and you never got back to i had to call Chicago to get a answer I realy had a bad experience

I was told not to pay my mortgage payment because loan was going to close then when it got delayed I wasn't told so my mortgage payment was late. I also was told that my interest rate would be lower and when I got my documents rate was higher than I was told. Very vague on my loan status and loan information. At one point I actually thought I was being scammed. Really bad experience. Bad customer service I would not recommend anybody refinancing with Mutual of Omaha any time soon!!!

My loan processor was very receptive when I said I wanted to start the refinance process. But I had more response from the loan processor than my own loan officer. Renu kept blaming everything on the Covid virus which made me aggravated. Once I started to lock in my rates they then needed new documentation and that lock expired. I ended up paying for six lock in a rate fees between 450 and $550 each which equated toAbout $2500 in processing fees that I should not have had to pay for !!

It would have been much better if she delegated her authority to Mutual of Omaha in CA in the start of the refinancing. The process of paperwork to me involved more personnel and it took longer than normal. This is the hardest that I've experienced, probably my last transaction in real estate. Thank you very much Renu.

Not necessarily Renu's issues....Mutual of Omaha as a company was lacking. I had to request information multiple times. Renu did her best to find information for me when requested. There was a lack of communication and a HUGE disconnect with Silk Title. I can't decide if I'm more disappointed in Mutual of Omaha or with Silk. Nothing was smooth, little communication, documents were incorrect, loan documents had the borrowers name different in multiple places. Lacked professionalism.

Communication was awful. Rarely did I receive responses to an email and for the most part if I did not call i would not get a response. When I did connect I feel like I was told what she thought I wanted to hear. When I had questions they were either not answered or with a very rushed response. I always felt like I was being rushed off the phone. The support staff had better communication though. Expectations should be explained upfront.

Good words and promises were done initially to please us. During the process, it turned-out that all what's said were lies. The numbers/figures agreed did not happen. We were charged with lock-in rate and we were not informed. Additionally, the Closing already happened but there were paperworks that were still sent to us for signing and be back-dated. There's no orderliness in our experience with your company. Realtor are not truthful and honest to the customers. We hate hidden charges!
