Unfortunately the manager at this facility does not wish to make contact with his patrons in a timely manner. We have waited almost 6 months to resolve a financial error where the Republic at Sam Houston owes us several hundred dollars. We have the ledger that clearly shows the error. Emails have been sent. Many, many phone calls have been made to the office, without any return call from the manager or the office accountant. I am sure they would not have waited as patiently as we have for their money.... this is unacceptable... read more

STILL AVAILABLE DEC. 2018 I am looking to Sublease my 1bed/1bath here at the republic. Rent is $840/mo. which covers everything except electricity. There’s a washer/drier included in the unit. It’s within walking distance to campus and I’ve never had any problems with staff, maintenance, or safety! Apartment comes unfurnished but can be altered. Lease ends July 30th 2019. If anyone is looking for an apartment, my sister is subleasing hers because she’s no longer attending Sam Houston. The sublease is a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom, the rent should be around $620 (furniture included). She hasn’t moved in yet so the apartment will be assigned then. Please contact me for details.
