I know there will be other students that have no choice but to live at an apartment like this but warning you now of the many issues with this apartment. 1, the ant problem here is horrible. We were looking for a private, quiet and safe apartment complex for my son in college over 2 years ago and he still there. The one bedroom fits perfectly with plenty of room and space. The staff tried their hardest to accommodate a move-in date and expedited everything. The apartment was freshly painted and new carpet, etc. Any maintenance requests have pretty much been handled promptly over the last two years. There seems to be a nice mix of tenants. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't an enormous ant problem. I've put in five pest control requests in two months. Each time, they say they'll take "additional measures" to get rid of the ants, but nothing EVER changes. Despite my repeated requests that they use something more extreme, they keep using stupid gel that doesn't do anything. It's infuriating knowing that I can't have any non-refrigerated food in the apartment without a chance of ants swarming it. They even attack completely sealed food straight from Kroger. Don't move here worst experience, attitude and lazy office workers, plus they charge you a lot for dust when you move out. �
These are the absolute worse apartments in Huntsville if you haven't signed your life away for a year don't! Run as fast as you can to Encore heck even Forum, save yourself the stress of living in an unkept filthy apartment complex. So many things went wrong while I was there that I don't even know where to start. I liked all the community activities that are available here. That being said there has been a cockroach infestation in my apartment for the past year. Multiple times you have sent someone to “spray” and they maybe cover five to ten feet of the total apartment, obviously not doing as good of a job as they should have. Leading the cockroaches to come back. Additionally, during Harvey the ceiling by the window leaked causing the window sill to warp become rotten and mold to grow on the baseboard.
