Very poor service. Used to be our favorite restaurant but the quality and service has declined significantly. We were very disappointed.
Our server did not know the names of the food fully. The server came to our table only once. The food was average in taste. Not worth the price tag. Will not return.
we were seated at a table that was so dark that we couldn't read the menu. the waitress told us that was "part of the decor". that didn't help reading the menu. the manager came over and he was equally not helpful. no one offered to bring a flashlight to the table or increase the number of table lights. fortunately, i had my apple phone with flashlight app. i read the menu and then handled it to my husband who read the menu. not the best way to start a meal at a restaurant we have always liked. doesn't anyone care about cust... read more
the atmosphere is very good it is like being at home, the food is very expensive to spend 65 dollars per person the portions are very small I think you have to balance the portions to the price you pay, this is experience for the future I grew up in an Italian family and I think it does not reflect in the Italian tradition in the cost of food and portions.
The menu here is a crap shoot. You might get the dish of your dreams, or you might spend $75 on really fancy mac and cheese.
Disappointed with the extreme lack of awareness of the management. They put us in a room outside of the restaurant in another building where private events are held. They threw us in a small room with a table of 16. It was truly an awful experience. Spending $500 on an evening for my birthday was actually spent with screaming children and the party FaceTiming everyone they could possibly imagine. There was no music just a extremely loud table. Nice place, the service is great. The food is overpriced for the quantity and quality. The food made both me and my wife sick. Average, not worth the money in my opinion.
Was a nice dinner but could have been great with a few extra touches. Some of the items to pick from are rather strange. We came for the islands surrounding Venice menu, thinking it would be lots of seafood. While it was, is leg of rabbit really something most people will want? When we were in Murano, we had a memorable meal of Branzino, which was not on the menu. Instead Mallard duck was.
