Amazing experience, they squeezed a group of 12 of us in super last minute on a Saturday night, they had a bar we were able to hang out at while we waited. Turned our experience around compared to the restaurant we were originally going to have dinner at, who dropped the ball with our reservation. Server Fabio was extremely attentive, I don't think we ever had to ask him for something once, he was already on it, clean plates and silverware for each round of food, water refills, constantly checking on us, taking away dirty pl... read more
Our server Alicia was awesome. She was very friendly and funny and knows her stuff. We ordered the cheese wheel pasta and I have to say it was delicious. So creamy and the chicken was good. Also the pesto flat bread was really good. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area. The only downside is... what's up with the uniforms?
Very beautiful restaurant. Food was heavy but great. Service was great as well. We had a reservation but there was plenty of tables available when we got there, but that was a Wednesday night.
In all my years of eating, trust me there was many, I haven't been convinced to write a review until now. Let me tell you the story: It began after a long night in the busy downtown Gaslamp Quarter, I was starving and tired. After walking a block or two I stumbled upon Romanissimo Cucina Italiana. I was greeted by charming and welcoming hosts/hostesses and was seated immediately for a party of 15. They were very accommodating and the interior is well designed, clean, and perfect for date nights! Next, the good stuff. FOOD. I... read more
MARCELO!! My GOAT I frequent so many Italian restaurants, and I have to say, the food and service here were absolutely impeccable. From the start I knew we were in for a treat when Marcelo explained the top menu items to each person and was patient despite our party of FIFTEEN high schoolers. The Spaghetti Carbonara was delicious and the Lobster Ravioli di Aragosta was even more amazing. Would go here again any day!! 11/10, amazing vibe and music too
The food was extremely good and the staff was friendly. The restaurant has a great vibe too. Highly recommend.
We went here for our post-prom dinner. The service was fantastic, and they offered us complimentary bread and dessert. The fettuccine and lobster ravioli were well made and worth the price. Huge thanks to Marcelo!
Marcello was an amazing waiter, and the food was stunning especially the margarita pizza
This place is amazing. The service in unbelievable, Favio served our table and was a stand up act. I'm definitely coming back here again.
