Service was top notch! Francesco was attentive and a pro server! Gaslamp during Christmas was festive.
Alec and Mateo ( the bartender) were amazing. The food was 10/10. This was our first time and everyone were very informative and helpful. Best Italian food I've had in years. We will definitely be back.

If you want authentic Italian food then this is the place to go! The owners are Italian and take great pride in serving the best food with the best ingredients. I had the cheese wheel pasta which is really fun presentation and the flavor of the cheese and mushrooms was delicate yet powerful and I literally had chills when I tasted the first bite. Romanissimo is an absolutely delicious restaurant with fantastic food and truly authentic Italian cuisine. Everything we tried was excellent and full of flavor, clearly prepared with great care and love for tradition. We were served by Francesco, who was incredibly kind, helpful, warm, and highly professional, making us feel very welcome from the very beginning. As an Italian (from Rome), I completely advise this restaurant! Francesco e Matteo made me feel at home. The ingredients were fresh and the pasta was delicious. You should go there!
