The service was great and I had a great time. The food was also great, I recommend getting the fettuccine Alfredo pasta, one of the best ones I've ever had.
Overall, it was a great dining experience and I will definitely be coming back. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and great service!
My girlfriend and I went here after a Yelp event at the Museum of illusion. We were happily surprised at how cute this restaurant was, it had such a nice authentic Italian ambience. Also our servers was super tentative and very nice. I ordered the lobster ravioli and my friend ordered one of the spaghetti pasta dishes. The food was also wonderful. Definitely a great spot if your looking for Italian food in gaslamp.
A wonderful birthday dinner at Romanissimo. Our fresh pasta entrees were wonderful but, honestly, everyone's meal we saw looked great. Eager to try the pizza next time. Thank you, Francesco, for stellar service.
This restaurant was amazing! The staff at the front were very friendly and welcoming. The waiter was attentive and patient with us as we tried to decide what to order. One note to anyone coming, when they ask "do you want sparkling water or still water?" Iced tap water is also an option! We said still and we got an Acqua Panna bottle, which wasn't bad and only $7, but would've been nice to know we had a third option. Maria made my whole night. I was traveling in San Diego in mid December. having the worst time in my life and had a devastating thing happen on the trip. I went downtown to get my mind off things and decided to treat myself to Italian. Maria was friendly, intuitive and kind hearted person. I didn't show I was sad but I think she could tell the way she made me feel I was being served by a friend. Everything was great! On time serving, knowledgeable staff, warm, welcoming and delicious food! Our server was Valentina and she was great!
Simply amazing food. Better than anything we ate in Italy. Fabio took wonderful care of us! The tiramisu was stellar and the mixed drinks were the cherry on top!
