Simi was the most pleasant server I had my whole trip to San Diego. The food here was delicious and the recommendations were on point.
Great Happy Hour. Roman cuisine Cozy ambiance, friendly staff, delicious and authentic Italian food. I almost finish the Margherita Pizza myself, crispy crust, square shape, melty mozzarella and just enough tomato sauce to delight yourself. They are running a special one pizza and a beer or glass of wine for $19. They have other great specials for happy hour.
Excellent food. I would come here just for the pizza... it's that good! The mozzarella tastes like it's homemade. Everything here tastes so authentic Italian. Fried calamari fried to perfection with 2 different dipping sauces. Lasagna made with homemade noodles, 2 sauces and meat so tender. Wow. Food was amazing! Make sure to talk to the guy with the cheese wheel so that you get more cheese. Francesco was awesome! He was prompt and on top of things. Ambiance could have been nicer. (NOT the restaurant's fault, but I just want to vent) There was a very loud woman across from us who talked the entire time she was eating. This experience was great! The ambience was amazing and pleasant, went here for my anniversary and they made sure to give us our space. The food was amazing and so fresh. Valentina was our waitress and she was amazing and very tentative. I'd recommend coming here for a great experience in San Diego!!
We arrived right at opening time for and early dinner. The place was charming, the staff was delightful, and the food was excellent! Maria was our server and she was very helpful as we had never been there before. She made the visit very relaxed, and the food choices were just what we wanted. The service was great, the staff is very attentive and made sure I was taken care of. For appetizers, I had the bruschetta. It was ok, the bread was not toasted enough for me. The highlight was the PASTA! My ravioli was soooooo amazing!! 10/10, will come back again.
Maria was great, she was super attentive and sweet. We stayed here for happy hour and got a lot of great things for a reasonable price. I really like the drinks as well, they tasted amazing and the food was on par as well! The place itself was nice and the music was fun and helped the vibe out a lot, I would def go here again!
From the minute we were greeted at the door, we felt so welcomed! The decor and inside area was so authentic looking! Our server, Maria, was the BEST!
