Super attentive service and delicious food in the Gas Lamp quarter. Valentina is lovely, the carbonara is a must have as is the ricotta bruschetta! Great ambiance and music!
Food was great! Service is super quick and efficient as well. If you are looking for Italian food in the Gaslamp Quarter - this is one of the better ones.

The experience at Romanissimo was underwhelming and felt a bit gimmicky. We tried the pappardelle prepared in the torched cheese wheel--while the presentation was interesting, the taste was just "good" rather than amazing. The meat lasagna was very average and lacked any real depth of flavor. The pizza was the biggest disappointment; it felt like basic bread topped with sauce and a generic white cheese that just ran everywhere once cut. This is by far the best restaurant in the Gaslamp district. We had Maria one night and Fabio when we came back and both gave impeccable service. Every person that works there is from Italy and it shows in the food. I would recommend the bruschetta ricotta and the cheese wheel pasta!
John was amazing! seriously one of the best bartenders I've ever had! Not only was he super nice and attentive but he also did magic for us!
