Buonissimo! We had a lovely time in the heart of the Gaslamp District, and this restaurant was a huge success for my mother-in-law's birthday. We had the pappardelle, the linguine in the cheese wheel, and the pasta carbonara... oh my goodness, it was all so good. Simi was our waitress, and she was incredibly helpful and attentive. I even got to practice my (very) broken Italian with her! The place had the perfect vibe since we got a table by the window... it truly felt like we was in Italy.

Restaurant vibe: 3/5 Food: 2/5 I checked out Romanisso after seeing it all over TikTok, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet, and while our server was very kind, I found myself wishing he had been a bit more attentive throughout the meal. Sat at the bar and had such a great experience! John, our bartender, was attentive, kind, and really knew his stuff. He made us feel welcome right away. We ordered the Caesar salad and the Pizza Colosseo, and both were absolutely amazing. You can really taste the difference--everything feels fresh, high-quality, and made from scratch. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if you get the chance!

Absolutely love Romanissimo. The food is some of the best Italian I've had! It's fresh, authentic, and consistently amazing. The service is just as impressive, they're super attentive, friendly, and genuinely personable. On top of that, the warm, cozy ambiance makes it the perfect spot for any occasion. We're here weekly for a reason!
