Charming Italian Restaurant in San Diego's gas lamp quarters. Shout out to Francesco who was so welcoming and helpful. Their Cheese Wheel Pasta is a true winner. My Vegetarian friend loved it .
I just wanted to say as a local resident of San Diego that the food and atmosphere was phenomenal. Mateo the bartender was fantastic with his recommendations on some excellent wines and beers, and Francesco the server was amazing with some great menu recommendations. I highly recommend eating some amazing Italian food at Romanissimo Cucina Italiana Thanks again!

This restaurant was the perfect trifecta. The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal, and the ambiance was perfect. Went here for an impromptu date night dinner and will definitely be returning. The tiramisu was delectable, I highly recommend. Maria took great care of us with a great smile and prompt service. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, the husband and I agreed that this is going on our list for date night spots.

Caesar salad was the best I've had and the Pizza Margherita was fresh and delicious. Francesco and the rest of the staff were very attentive.
We had a wonderful anniversary meal here. The restaurant is lovely. Our server, Maria, was excellent. The food was delicious. We had the lobster ravioli, oxtail ossobuco, and burata caprese. Highly recommend!
