My first mistake using VRBO to reserve a property for a family vacation managed by Royal Destinations that was infested with ROACHES. We’re currently staying at Vista Mar/The Crest and we’ve been very unhappy. Upon arrival, after waiting for an open house to be over and finally gaining access to the house, we found the elevator not working, the terrace door inoperable, a door loose on its hinges and a shower door handle broken. Maintenance was responsive, but if you’re showing a home, those things should have been noticed and repaired beforehand. This review is for the 110 Surfer Lane, Rosemary Beach Florida property managed by Royal Destinations. After traveling 1400 miles, we went to check in to that home on October 29. It was the most filthy/disgusting home we had ever seen. Photos attached are a small sample of what we found. We refused to stay for more than 30 minutes in this environment and our long planned vacation was a bust.
