Sales person was eager to indicate that they were the only licensed pest control company in the state. Idaho doesn't require contractors to be licensed unless they fall under specific categories. When pressed on this she admitted that it was because they are in multiple states and some do require licensing. Did not press the hard sell too hard and was good enough to come back the next day with a card for the initial quote and a contact number. Pleasant but comes across as deceptive. I have been using Edge for many years in making sure I can get rid of the voles that were destroying my bushes. I thought I would have to have them taken out but by using Edge they are still growing and I do have them service on a regular routine t make sure they survive.

I just figured out how Edge can supposedly service my house without disturbing a single spider web. After calling me to notify me of his pending arrival to service my house, the guy showed up, sprayed around a couple of my next door neighbor's windows, sat in his vehicle for a while, and then took off. This company is a big rip-off.

I contacted Edge Pest Control to deal with 2 squirrels who were living in my attic. I paid $300 upfront, and they installed a trap on the next day. 10 days after, the squirrels haven't been captured, they were still in my attic and Edge Pest Control told me I would have to pay more to keep the traps on. I was really disappointed, as I couldn't see any progress, and they couldn't guarantee the squirrels will be trapped. The contract is easy enough to read but the young sales rep (who is trained to be a pressure saleman) will promise anything and everything to get the sale complete. I only signed up IF they would call ahead of time so that I can make sure they get the job done and so that they can service the inside of the house. That didn't get done. I usually do not write bad reviews; however, after dealing with this company I had to alert others to the dirty dealings of this company. A salesman came to the door last fall and said they were in the area. I had a problem with my tree and had him come out to look at it and ask if Edge could deal with this. He said, well let's get the initial spray done and we will look at it after you have sprayed. I was assured that if it didn't work I could cancel. I never write reviews and I own my own business and I know how these can be very difficult for companies, but I have never dealt with a company that is so underhanded in my life. Edge Pest Control is literally one of the worst companies I have ever worked with, they are pushy and out right LIE to their customers. This is my first review i have ever made. Horrible experience. Do not choose this company unless you want to be cheated. Sales person didn't go over everything in detail. I was told to initial and sign in places for accepting service and authorization to run credit card which I then found out I was signing a contract. I was misled. The customer service department is a joke. This company is the worse, the been charging my card for services they never provided. The only came once but charged me for the a year. I work from home and my office is looking right to my driveway and the street. The days they called that they are going to come to do the service, they actually never showed up. No one did and when I called their customer service the best the could do was well we got GPS tracking that shows they were there.
