This review is not about their service. The service is good, great even. However this is about how Edge Pest Control as a company and how they acquisition customers. I signed up for their service in June of 2017 when a nice young man came to my door selling their products and services. You willfully ignore "do not solicit" signs and cold knock to try and sell your products. I have told your reps multiple times to stay away from our home and to heed our "do not solicit" signs on our front door. Your reps willfully ignore them. Numerous other reviews are complaining about the same corporate policy. This is against the law in Oregon... and next time a rep decides to ignore my do not solicit.. I will sue. There's a good class action here. Edge Pest control are the biggest pests of all.
Worse company ever, when I called in to cancel my service with Edge I was transferred to a manager who informed me that there was a contact that I was never told by the salesman. Then I told them I was moving that’s why I was canceling and he informed me that they do not service that area. I just got off the phone in tears after a 25 min conversation with a edge supervisor! I have NEVER been so un satisfied with a service provider before EVER! I have had edge as “rodent control” for 9 months and not only has my rodent problem not resolved but every time I call in to edge to have them come to my home and work on the problem, the service provider shows up and has no idea why they are at my home! This company is absolutely horrible. First it starts with reps who provide false information which results in being overcharged twice!!!!!! First tech that came out to my house was high on something and smelled of smoke.....He came out for 10 minutes and then tried to tell me he was all done.....******** becasue I watched him and he didnt even come close to providing a quarter of the services that were promised from the rep and listed on the website. So disappointed with this service. We have been charged a different amount then what we were told by the sales person. The customer service manager that we talked with told us that it was our fault for miss understanding the sales person and that having one upset customer wouldn't hurt their business so they wouldn't do anything to make things right.
The customer service was amazing right from the rep that came to the door to the tech (Kyler) that sprayed our home. We just had our home sprayed and so far I’ve noticed I’m not seeing the bugs as much. I’m anxious to see how things look in a few weeks or months.
These guys are prompt, nice, and haven't seen any spiders this year. Definitely would recommend them.
The sales person lied to me when I said I’m not interested in his service. He said that my wife told him out at the street that she wanted the inspection. While he did speak with her, she never expressed interest. Additionally, the same guy went around our neighborhood speaking with houses multiple times. They spoke with many of us three times in the same day! Then the same guy came back the next day speaking to homes that were approached multiple times the previous day. This lack of integrity says a lot about the company.
