Terrible service. Scam say they are coming for a quote and to give an estimate of what the problem was. Then snuck us into a year contract and threatened to send to collections so I am begrudgingly making payments to pay off contract.
They make it very hard to cancel. It shouldn't be this hard to cancel. This tells all you need to know. Avoid!
DO NOT USE. They are complete scam artists. After they failed to solve the issue that we hired them for, ignoring our complaints, we cancelled our service. They called us and said that they "appreciated our business and wanted to make it up to us". They offered us two free sessions to give them another chance. We agreed. They then showed up with no warning, left after performing no services, then had the audacity to scam us for $100 for what was supposed to be a free service that we didn't even receive. I will never do business with this company again. I had their pest control service and then engaged them to get rid of a squirrel in my attic. They totally have NO IDEA what they are doing. Never called before coming, took a bunch of money to set a metal trap in my attic and wait. Really...….. Coulda done that myself, where is the expertise??? After discussing my service problems with Morgan at Edge's corporate office, she has asked that a portion of the 50% I owe the company after cancelling service be dismissed. She also has asked the Execs there to make certain people representing Edge go over their contract in detail before asking prospective customers to sign their contract. I appreciate her desire to make things right in dealing with Edge customers. They do appear to care how they deal with the public.
I had voles in my grass, so I called Edge Pest Control. They sent a person out (not a sales person, but service person). This person explained that they put out a bait box at the point the voles come out to feed on the grass. They provided little information about the program, other than saying they come out every six weeks for 6 months to replace the bait. I signed a contract for one year. It was supposed to include my garage. Was told they would give me a window of time when they would come so i could get home from work and open my garages. This has never happened, they just say they came and bill me. Next to impossible to reach. Have left several messages over past 6 months to cancel. They just keep on billing me. May cancel my credit card to stop paying for this scam.
I believe the company, Edge pest control, did not complete their end of the contract. When I presented information to them they reminded me of termination fee for early cancellation. 50% of remaining contract. Beginning date of contract 9 Oct.2018. I contacted them for a specific service. I ended up getting more than I wanted or needed and when I went to cancel after one visit out I had to pay a years worth of service totaling about $600. Only after I cancelled was I informed they actually do have a package for what I originally asked for. Even with that their prices are WAY out of line for the market. I would never refer business to this organization. So not worth it. I wish I had taken more time to research this company and their services.
