I've been using Sail Internet in Santa Clara for about 6 months now. They provide faster speeds for less cost than the competition's standard rates (without deals) so it's a great value. Unfortunately the connection is not reliable enough if you depend on having constant use of the Internet (like WFH). We always have multiple network losses throughout the day, sometimes multiple per hour which last from a short period of time to several minutes. Another outage on 5/9/2024. No estimated time of repair either. It is frustrating having to deal with at least one outage every month.

I have Sail Inertnet setup recently. I was told I can get 200/200 Mbps download and upload speed, but the actual speed I got is aboit 50-75 download and 20-30 upload!

SHADY as all other ISPS! They are pulling out of the San Leandro market, this isn't a terrible thing but it would have been nice to know this before I signed up. I had high hopes with this ISP because they were communicative, little did I know that a week after I got the internet installed they were pulling out of my market. Why would you ever sell internet to someone if you are going to be pulling out of the area in less than a month. Would not recommend

STAY AWAY FROM SAIL INTERNET!! About one year ago I agreed to be a relay house for this internet company. They have now stopped providing service to our area. From the beginning I regretted my relationship with Sail Internet. The technicians were undertrained or otherwise not qualified to do the work they were asked to do. Some of the issues I had to deal with were multiple broken roof tiles and badly chipped stucco. They spent way more time on my property than what I was initially told. Dan, I am sorry to see that your experience with us so unpleasant. Going over the history of our relationship, I do see that there were some mistakes at the beginning - all of which we resolved. When there was property damage, we had payed for and planned the repairs. In regards to the contract, we also honored it within the terms both parties had agreed to upon your signing.
