Remove empty drink glass, but did not ask if I wanted another drink. Order another drink and they forgot until I asked again.

Four of us had a pre-theater dinner at the Saltlik. Restaurant was busy, but not so when we first arrived. A performance review of a staff member was occurring at the next table which was a little unusual. Appetizers were good as were the pre-dinner drinks. Dinner, however, was underwhelming. My wife's chicken and vegetables arrived luke warm, and our friends fish dinners arrived skin-on on top of vegetables in a pool of broth. They weren't impressed. The staff where friendly and the steak was outstanding! BUT! The onion soup was just warm, the red wine was chilled, and the server was very rushed to get us in and out of the restaurant. Like a fast food restaurant. Really not sure if we will go again! Talked to the manager and no compensation was given just a sorry about that.

Server did not introduce herself, just jumped into asking for an order a minutre or two after we sat. Her service continued to be insistent and inpersonal as she asked to clear our mains when they were half eaten, no crossed cutlery etc. No changing in cutlry betwen apps and mains, simply added a steak knife. The wine list is also a joke, no vintages listed, even on the vintage page. Beyond that, the Ridge Zinn turned out to be a blend not the actual Zinfandel that Ridge produces. I really enjoyed my meal. However, it took quite a while for our food order to be taken and for it to be delivered (soup and pasta). the service was poor, and the servers were cranky. the server that came and dropped my bill just dropped it without even a thank you. We then had to wait another 15 minutes to actually pay.

To be blunt, we waited for over an hour for our food, that is completely unacceptable at lunch no matter how busy the restaurant is. We had to ask a server several times and eventually the GM what was taking so long and all that we got were apologies. I don't have the ability to spend 2 hours at lunch and the reasonable expectation is that lunch isn't going to take that long. What happened? It used to be a good restaurant. This time service was below average; food was barely warm when served; I was overcharged for some food; and coffee was sub par. I was going to this restaurant at least twice a year for more than five years. I cannot recommend it anymore.
