The food was really disappointing, the steaks were overpowered with garlic, the asparagus and mushrooms were overdone and poor.

Ordered the Tomahawk Steak 40oz - turned out to be the kind of cut you would expect at a non steakhouse. Calamari for appetizer was terrible. Used to be a signature. This was an annual occasion for us - been doing it for the last 6 years. Maybe we just caught them on an off night.

I am giving a fair review based more so on the good food and ambiance but our group felt rushed to leave because there was supposed to be another reservation at that time, even though there were large tables available when we left, and nobody was waiting to come in .. too bad, we would have ordered desert and more drinks but forced to go elsewhere. I never write these but I'm a celiac, mentioned it a few times to the waitress and was pretty much immediately sick after lunch - likely from something in the potatoes. Shouldn't happen at a restaurant that charges what this place does. Better options in the city for your dollars.

Terrible experience… I gave 1 star because I couldn’t give ZERO stars… Got sat and waited 30 minutes before we finally got up and left only to be saluted by hostess that sat us “Thank you for coming”. Servers, hostesses, saw us sitting there and not a single staff member acknowledged us. TERRIBLE service

I spent a couple weeks looking on Instagram and google to find the best steak house for my 25th birthday. We decided to come to Saltlik - the person that seated us was very kind but when it came to the first server it seemed that maybe they were having a bad day and it showed , i wasn’t greeted for my birthday as seen posted from views. Really a mixed bag with this place. Music is blasting out of numerous speakers so carrying on a conversation is difficult. We asked a couple of times if they could turn it down, but nothing was done. As far as the food, again a mixed bag. Onion soup was overly salty as was the filet. In fact the filet had a layer of salt on top. I guess they don’t call it the Saltlik for nothing. The salmon though was very good. The burger was ok, if a bit over seasoned and spicy for my taste. But the real problem was the slowness of service... read more
