This was our first visit to Saltlik and unfortunately we won’t be going back. The service was exceptional but the quality of the steaks for the price we paid was underwhelming at best. The prices were premium, the steaks mediocre and our meals did not include any bread or vegetables. Disappointed!
Its okay, not great though. We had calamari for apetizer, and its probably the saddest calamari ive ever had, and i've tried lots of them in many different places. I've had the prime rib and shrimp skewers, again, its ok, but not great, i dont think its even worth 40 bucks for both. Shrimp was bland, steak was ok, i ordered med rare and i got brownish meat on the inside. I would recommend as I’ve liked it in the past. This time our server wasn’t particularly easy to deal with. We were splitting several dishes and she opted not to bring the normal side of the dish and then charged us full price. When we asked about it she got a bit snarky. Not an awesome situation.
Rude staff, very slow service and the food was poorly cooked
Not a good experience. Extremely noisy making conversation almost impossible. We waited over an hour for our food , which, despite being quite pricey was very mediocre. Only positive was the helpful sommelier.
Unfortunately our experience at Saltlik left something to be desired. The service was poor, we ordered drinks when we first arrived that were empty halfway through and we’re never refilled. I ordered a wedge salad that was hands down the worst wedge salad I have ever had; no blue cheese, two tiny slivers of bacon, and two cherry tomatoes served in a small bowl, not worth the price. Had my birthday dinner with a reservation of 14 however had 18 show up and they accommodated to us nicely however when it came to the service and food quaility was poor. Every single one of dishes was cold. The server never asked how our food was, was difficult to get drinks. Would not recommend for large parties
We were completely ignored by our waitress for 20+ minutes after we were seated. She offered no apology and then wan short with us the rest of the meal. My chicken came out raw and I sent it back, she said the kitchen said it was a tendon and not raw. My friend was finished with her meal before my replacement meal arrived. Overall a disaster, I would have expected an apology from the manager when a plate is sent out raw... so disappointed.
Visited Saltlik on Sunday evening with family from out of town. Party of 8. Sat us immediately then ignored us for 25 mins. Finally ordered drinks, brought 1/2 in 5 mins. then left the other 1/2 for another 15 mins (not even water). Food was ok, fire the server.
