Service was slow, food portions were small, and the food came out cold. I use to have lunch here regularly, and recommended it to colleagues for a dinner meeting, we all went away disappointed. It use to be so much better.

Right at the door rather than ask if we had a reservation they quickly mentioned there was no availability until 9PM. Why not ask us if we had a reservation first? Yes we did for 4 people for 6:30PM. We were sat, the four of us, in one of their half moon booths. There was 3 place settings on the table but there was 4 of us. The booth was not at all comfortable, very crowded. I made the reservation way in advance for our group. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food came 45 minutes later after our initial ordering (two chicken burger, one hamburger , soup and salad for six people)..should not take that long. Our server was running from one side to the other..she was serving and brining the food all by herself. The strip loin steak was unusually thin and unremarkable, the filet cuts were very generous but the cook severely over salted all the steaks...a real disappointment. The baked potatoes were just warm, not hot. The apple pie dessert was very good. The staff had a laptop set up in the dining area right beside our table and it was very unprofessional. Our server Ali, was great. I have eaten at the Saltik many times over the years and was shocked at how poor our meal was.

I was their with my boyfriend for dinner, we were sat in the corner I think it was the worst table in the place, we waited far to long for our drinks the baked potato is over cooked, i guess it must have been left overs from the day before. The waiter must have been new, he was moving far to slow and we were never given the water we asked for

We were excited by the menu, but we weren't seated at our reservation time, drinks took 20 minutes, duo dips were a cheese ball and 3 ingredient avocado, duck fat fries were fair, our two filet mignons were served cold on the inside. We didn't enjoy our meal.

First off, the service from the hostess to the server was absolutely top notch without being overbearing or interrupting at all. Atmosphere is decent and expected of this type of steakhouse. I've been to this location many times in past years along with the one in Banff. This particular evening, I have to say, the food has gone downhill. Ordered their top of line reserve steak Med Rare - it came to the table very rare the waiter didnt come back to the table until I was half way through my steak -- even though I tried to get his attention - His knowledge of wine was very basic. For such an upscale location and pricing, I would expect much more Not recommended

Four of us dined at Saltlik. Two steaks were sent back to the kitchen because of poorly cooked meat. It was disappointing. The vegetables were so over salted they were inedible. they did adjust the bill.
