We booked here for supper based on the Trip Advisor rating. Our experience was less than awesome. It seemed as if this was everyone's first day on the job. The busboy(?) who asked if we wanted drinks had minimal knowledge of the wines, and then neglected to bring the bottle or pass on our selection on to the waitress. The restaurant has a discomforting policy of pouring your wine into your glasses, and then taking the bottle away to a communal "wine garage table" where it is placed in a decanter alongside everyone else's. Having dined a few times at the Saltlik, it was a favorite for my wife and I for special occasions. Our last experience there was mediocre. The filet my wife ordered was cut thin and over cooked and there was no service.
Had an allergic reaction to the egg whites in the margarita, the duo dip was average and the sticky toffee pudding was too sweet. I've dined here previously with a much better experience but this will be my last time...nothing enjoyable 😕 three different servers which was odd
I guess I could of guessed from the name of the restaurant, but the food had so much salt that I couldn't finish it. Probably worse burger I ever had. The steak was okay, but also seasoned with too much salt.
no grenadine, server always trying to pick up your dishes, lame garlic bread, mediocre steak, nothing wrong with having vegetables without having to pay extra for it. want a nice steak dinner go to Hy's
Very disappointed with the food. Ordered the filet mignon which was extremely dry and lacking in flavor. Side seasonal vegetables were also very disappointing. Will not be returning anytime soon
Reservation was for 11:30. The food did not arrive until 12:50 and the fries had already gone cold.
Both of my wife's dishes were burnt. Aside from the burnt food, however, Saltlik was a positive experience and remains on our list
I took a client out for lunch at Saltlik. We had previous good experiences, and were expecting no less this time around. We were sadly mistaken. Below is a list of issues we had with the restaurant: -My client was a celiac and is unable to have any bread. This was clearly communicated to the waiteress, but his soup ended up having some bread in it. -My client ordered his steak medium; my colleague and I ordered ours medium rare.
