Did not care we were celebrating our 28th Anniversary not one person said anything and I put it in the special info section. Not a place I would go again for a nice fancy quiet meal. Way to loud and more bar feel then restaurant feel . Food size was very small and over priced. Salmon should not be served with a potato and not burnt broccoli. Guess we have higher standards on restaurants. Not the servers fault on any of this.

I found the service very sub par for an 'upscale' restaurant. My $39 steak was overcooked. And on the small side. I will not be returning to this restaurant nor will I recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing.

Our meals were cold and the service was horrible. Our waiter came by twice after we were finished to clear a few of the dishes, but didn't say a word to us. He didn't ask us if we wanted anything else. We finally had to walk to the front to get our bill. Even then, he was rude. We ended up having to deal with the manager.

This restaurant gets a C-. We were visiting from out of town and looking forward to a great Alberta steakhouse experience. I was excited to see the chairs and menus were made of cow, but that was the high point. The wine we ordered wasn't available, and it took 10 minutes for the waitess to tell us this, then we had to ask her for the wine list back, and she stood impatiently waiting while we looked for an alternative. I had a burger with side mushrooms and a house salad. The mushrooms had been completely over seasoned and were far too salty. The salad was supposed to have candied almonds but instead had cajun flavoured almonds which ruined the salad overall. The burger was tasty but the patty was small. I've dined many times at Saltlik for both lunch and dinner. Lately, I've noticed a a marked decline in the quality of their food to the point where I won't go back.

We frequent this restaurant quite a bit for business lunch meetings and we have noticed the level of service in the last year is getting worse every time we go, this last lunch we had to wait over 45min to be served and never got a refill until we asked for it. The fries were black with pepper and cold... as a "sorry for the long wait" the waitress offered us free dessert, I am sorry but I am been on a lunch break for over an hour and I don't have time for dessert. A tendency to overcook the food. They fill the plates with shoelace fries which come damp and limp. Salad was drowned in dressing. Plenty of free tables, but they seated us in the very center of the restaurant where all staff and diners have to pass by. Overall very disappointing, won't be eating here again.

The only thing I would have preferred is if the wait staff didn't get to personal with us. One of the gentlemen there was having a bad day and told us so. When I go out to a restaurant and spend money on a nice meal I want a nice experience for myself and the people I'm with. I don't want to be involved in the waiters life drama. I also don't like it when they ask what are our plans for the rest of the night as if it's any of their business. They should just be concerned with our experience right there in the restaurant.

The appetizers were great. The main entrees including vegetables were extremely salty. When we mentioned that the food was too salty we were rudely told that salt was in the name of the restaurant and that's just the way it was.
