This was my second (and last) visit to this Restaurant. Three of the four meals ordered (steak) were less than satisfactory and the fourth (fish...go figure in a "Steakhouse") was reasonable. Service was painfully SLOW but cordial. I was served a stone cold baked potato and the steak (tough) came with the wrong sauce. I ordered the brisket sandwich. The bread was very greasy and the brisket was stringy and tough. Maybe it was supposed to be grilled, but it was certainly not "crispy". I had to eat with a knife and fork.
At Saltlik I enjoyed an amazing meal, the food was absolutely incredible and I was extremely impressed with it. However, I wish that same satisfaction transitioned over to the service portion of the night. The staff was utterly rude and not very helpful at all , quite frankly I've never received such poor service at any other restaurant before. I would love to go back for the food but unfortunately I will not be returning again due to the lack of respect I received from the staff.
After sitting at our table for 20 minutes we had to notify the hostess that no one had been by to take our drink order. After finally getting our drinks and ordering an appetizer, it took another half hour before it arrived. The service continued to be poor throughout the evening. The potato skin appetizer was good but the steak main was underwhelming. Won't be returning.
Have been a total of 4 times, none of which have been all that impressive. Service has varied from good to excellent, which is better than most places. I've always left disappointed in the food itself. When I had steak it was very undercooked (came out close to blue rare when ordered mid-rare). Another time I shared popcorn shrimp with a friend.
