Food and service are fine - nothing special. Over priced for what it is.
In my reservation I had noted need for high chair when the resturant called to confirm on day of I also confirmed need of high chair and was told yes party of (7) plus a high chair however when I arrived I was told by the hostess no high chairs Will not go hack or recommend this place and will be writing poor review about this place
The size of the scallops had shrunk by half...
Both steaks were overdone, then when they were redone they were both undercooked. Disappointed after spending $35/steak. No discount was applied to the bill for our troubles. Won't be going back again.
Good for dinner not so good for lunch. Very slow, food was luke warm and not high quality.
I was looking forward to a great meal. Unfortunately, the waiter and or kitchen ruined it. I was halfway through my French onion soup which was very good, when the waiter turned up with my salad and main course. This forced me to leave the rest of my soup and wolf down the salad quickly in order to have my steak and asparagas before either got cold. Was quite disappointed with the restaurant. It was a cold evening and our booth was close to the entrance. Two tables in front of us (where we were initially seated) had their coats on for their entire meal. I had a coat across my legs for the whole evening. Poor service. No ice bucket for wine offered, water was not offered, plates which were finished were not cleared. Would not return to this restaurant.
All 8 of our steaks were over cooked. The service was disappointing. It took a half hour before we even got our drink order. I would not go back. The are better steak resturantes out there.
I love the one in Banff. This one had gone downhill, but in terms of service and attention to food quality. I ordered the nightly special and the sides came out cold, which means it clearly wasn't moving as fast they had hoped. Calamari is still good, but I'll never return to this location again. The Banff location always delivers though.
