Truist recently had a long system maintenance for their credit card accounts. During this maintenance our businesses lost over ******* in cash rewards. I have talked to branch manager and called the rewards program telephone number. ****** manager is no help but she has been very good to us in every other way. The first call to the rewards program ended with being told a ticket would be written and I would receive call in 1 to 2 business days.... NO CALL was received. The most inconvenient branches, we have to travel 12 miles now that they closed the branch near us. We have been trying to get a debit card for months and still havent received it. It takes 3 days to post items from Friday. They wont post until Monday night. This is a horrible bank. I have nothing good to say about it.
Worst bank ever. Had problems with debit card being stolen and they claim they have 100% reimbursement for stolen credit or debit cards transactions. That is a LIE PLEASE find another bank it's nothing they claim to be

Have been trying to set up payments for my loan for two months. Ive called multiple times, many emails, and many inquiries on their website. Their portal and automated phone service will not accept my loan number. Scam of a company.

Truist is deceptive and corrupt. They double charged me on the end on my term for a car loan they assumed through Suntrust, refused to send me detailed information I requested, then out false information on my credit report, forcing me to comply to receive my cars title.With Suntrust, I always received honest service, with reps who truly cared.I wouldn't use there bank if it was the only one left standing.
Very poor service. All downhill since Truist takeover. Very little support for branch staff. Staff tries but slow or no help from bank operations. **** service is miserable and very slow. Been a customer of BB&T for over 30 years but enough is enough. Investment personnel are very scarce and are not usually in the office. Not good. Looking elsewhere..
For more than 40 years we were loyal customers of SunTrust Bank and its predecessors in ********. Doing business with SunTrust was as close to a pure pleasure as can be imagined when it comes to dealing with any bank. But in all those years nothing has made us appreciate SunTrust more than the absolute unmitigated disaster we have experienced with the advent of Truist Bank. Interest rates are thru the roof. Had I known about this company prior, I would have done 12 mos same as cash. I am paying ***** % interest on an air conditioner - that breaks down to ****** a month in interest alone. I calculated the interest that I have been charged and it comes to over $800 for 3 months. Review was kicked out 3 times , BUT I will send as many times as necessary!! TRUIST Bank are predators!!! I was charged 3 times for the same transaction a total of $106 completed ridiculous!!! Was charged for insufficient funds, charged again for doing a stop payment in an effort to avoid another penalty, and then another fee for account going into the negative.
