The service was mediocre at best, and I understand the shortage on staffing and give the benefit of the doubt but it still was horrible. My husband ordered the seafood basket and received 3 pieces of fish that I would call nuggets and not filets. they were no bigger than the shrimp in the basket. We won't be going back, if I'm going to spend that amount of money; I'll add $3 more dollars and drive a little further to eat at Joe Patties, Oar House or Fish House.

Family of 6 Waited 45 mins for a table, completely understandable. Placed a drink and appetizer order. Received the seafood queso. It came with 8 chips and no seafood. We placed our food order and 2 hours later we still didn’t have food. How does this even happen? Honestly I don’t think our order was submitted. So needless to say, Shrimp Basket will not be a restaurant we try again.

We stopped to have an early dinner and we were very disappointed. We were sat and had ordered 2 waters and 2 sweet teas, 20 minutes pass and we hadn’t got our drinks, the server came to take our order. After witnessing the level of service, we left without drinks and without ordering. We weren’t in a hurry but we could tell how this was going to go. We are disappointed because we had heard great things about Shrimp Basket. I guess we will have to try again next trip.

Bay Minette location. Bad attitude. Waited 15 minutes to order our drinks. When we tried to get our server's attention she informed us she would get to us when she could because she was the only one there. There were only two other tables occupied & one already had food. Needless to say, we left. One less table for her to be bothered with and one less table for tips.

Gift card reader has been broken during the last 2 visits. What is up? How does the credit card reader and online balance check work and not the point of sale machine?

My family and I have always enjoyed our trip to Shrimp Basket! However, I'm very saddened that clam strips are no longer available. Why??? �

My husband and I attempted to eat at the Milton Shrimp Basket tonight and ended up leaving. We were promptly seated however our waitress never came to the table. There were two families that were seated after us that had their drinks and order taken and we still didn’t get any service. We are new to the area and I surely hope this isn’t going to be a trend.

I bought 10 gift cards for my family to enjoy seafood. We went last night and when using the cards the waitress took our gift cards and proceeded to the kitchen. She returned with another very rude waitress telling me loudly in front of all their customers that we were only allowed 1 card per table. She then went on a rant that I could get the other waitress fired. Excuse me! I paid good money to use these cards! I was so embarrassed I cried. Bad food! I'm from Texas was driving thru and wanted some good food. But unfortunately I didnt get any, my crab claws were over cooked all I was biting into was almost burnt crust!! Then my 1/2 pound shrimp was not even cooked all the way you could see all the grease in the breading!! Waste of time and money. The location in Mississippi was where we ate.
