We had a coupon. Gave when we ordered. Waited till the bill came to tell us we couldn’t use. Now we had ordered extra stuff. Since when is a poor boy not an entree. If they had told us up front we would have changed our order. It would off been cheaper for them to take of the poor boy then a plate meal. That’s just common sense.
Went to the Montgomery location for the oyster special last night at 6:30 and was told they were out of oysters drove a hr just to go. We even called In advance before coming to make sure they had the special!!
This was our first time ever visiting any shrimp basket in Panama City, FL This was by far the worst service ever. I am a native and I always try to support our local businesses but this was terrible. Our server walked by us several times before we were even greeted which was 10 mins and then after ordering our food and telling her it was our first time we still had bad service, but the older couple behind us got her attention the whole time and made sure their drinks weren't empty. Service is horrible. Been here an hour and still no food. Pretty empty too today so no excuse.
Three stars is pretty generous. Our server was super sweet and did a pretty good job. The food was sub par at best. The shrimp étouffée and fish was pretty much a mess. All served on one plate, the fish was covered on the side with the étouffée. The worst part was that the rice seemed old. It was hard and very chewy. I had a shrimp poboy and onion rings. The sandwich was ok...nothing special at all with tons of lettuce. The onion rings were below par and very greasy. Probably would not go back, nor recommend the place.
We ate there today expecting better from the reviews. What a disappointment. Our waitress had no personality, my grouper didn't taste like local grouper, we were charged $5 extra for fries because THEY DIDNT COME WITH A BURGER!?, my key lime pie tasted fake $4, and we paid $7 for funnel fries. Ended up paying $50. We won't be back.
